Leading global distributor Kew Media Group (“Kew”) today announces the appointment of Jennifer Askin as Vice President of Sales, Distribution for US and Latin America.  Jennifer will report to Jonathan Ford, Executive Vice President of Sales, Distribution.

Jennifer will be responsible for sales of all Kew Media [Distribution] content across all genres (including feature films) to US and LatAm buyers on a regional and pan regional basis. Jennifer replaces Diana Zakis who is relocating and will lead sales team members Alfonso Lopez, Sales Manager, and Hannah Nailor, Sales & Distribution Coordinator.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the television industry, Jennifer joins Kew Media Group’s distribution arm after six years at Askin & Company, Inc., an entertainment consulting firm specialising in content programming, marketing and distribution. During this time she worked with a range of distribution companies and independent production companies. From 2009 to 2012 Jennifer held the role of Director of International Sales at Alfred Haber Distribution and continued working with the company as a consultant up until her appointment at Kew. Jennifer also brings a wealth of further programming sales experience to the role, having held a broadcast and digital sales manager post at 4Kids Entertainment before joining Alfred Haber Distribution. Before working in content distribution, Jennifer spent seven years in network and cable news, with roles at NBC News, MSNBC, and ABC News.

Jennifer’s appointment is made during a significant period of expansion for Kew Media Group Inc, which hired renowned industry executive Carrie Stein as Executive Vice President, Global Scripted Series in November 2017.
